Erin and Ryan are from a sleepy town in Southern California and have been itching to travel all their lives, only to be held up by petty obstacles like school, work, money, and responsibility. But as Erin graduated college and entered the working world and Ryan began planning for his final year of school, they realized something: from here on out, they would never be able to travel on impulse, to take off to a faraway country of a month with no consequences, purely for the sake of doing it.
And so they did it.
For the next month, they will be working at Me Jujube Nature Farm in Miaoli County, Taiwan through the program WWOOF Taiwan.
Erin is a writer and Ryan is an agricultural specialist. They live in Davis, California with a snake, two lizards, and soon, hopefully, a cat.
